Emirgan Korusu Istanbul is a beautiful park located in the Sariyer district of Istanbul. It covers an area of approximately 130 hectares and is surrounded by nature. Inside the park, visitors can find several historic buildings such as the Ottoman Empire's Çırağan Palace, which was reconstructed after being devastated during a fire in 1910; Emirgan Mosque, which dates back to 1740; and two picturesque pavillions – one of them inspired by Chinese architecture known as Nuruosmaniye Pavilion. Additionally, Emirgan Park is home to over 900 species of trees from around the world.
These include English Oaks and some rare varieties such as Turkish Elm and Persian Ironwood. Visitors can also admire a wide array of exotic flowers that decorate the gardens throughout spring and summertime. Aside from its natural beauty, the park also offers plenty of recreational activities including tennis courts and playgrounds for children.
