  : Overall excellent stay, and hotel was able to accommodate a request for late-night (11pm) covid tests for our family for a small fee. Room was a good size, and a lot of the hotel staff were very kind - one person in particular waited outside in the freezing cold with us while we were trying to contact our pre-arranged airport transfer (not booked through the hotel). He waited almost 30 mins with us and helped with luggage, talked to drivers in nearby cars, called our driver for us, etc. Many thanks to him for doing that despite the fact that we did not ask him to do that! The hotel restaurant/breakfast has a stunning panoramic view of Istanbul: you can see the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bosphorous, "new city" across the river, etc. The location of the hotel was also very convenient because it's just a few minutes' walk from the Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. I would definitely stay here again!
  : A few minor details: (1) one of us had to sleep upside-down on the bed because the head of the bed was placed directly beneath a part of the wall that protruded (like a rail), which I thought was a little dangerous. (2) This was the only one of the 7 hotels during our vacation that did not have non-dairy milks as an option at breakfast, although I appreciated that the man working there asked if I was staying another night (perhaps it is available if you ask ahead of time?). (3) Lastly, although we paid for our covid tests in cash directly after our swabs were done, when we checked out the next morning the receptionist asked us for payment and didn't seem to have a record of our cash payment. We didn't have to pay it again, but I think next time, the nighttime receptionist should make sure to write a note and record the payment so the morning receptionist would have known. (He checked around the desk but could not find any record of our payment.)
