  : The location is great. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Taksim square. The hotel is at the back of CVS Marmara Hotel in Taksim. It is also near to metro bus station, train and the Havana line buses that goes from Taksim to the new Istanbul International Airport.We actually extended our stay for 10 more nights as most of the apartments and hotels around Taksim are overly priced. They gave us good discounts. The rooms are clean and there is a housekeeper that tidy up the room daily. Although, they do not replace bedsheets and covers. The bathroom is nice and clean and has quite enough space to move yourself around. They have an elevator, which is the best thing as it is difficult to find a hotel or an apartment that has an elevator in Istanbul!
  : They cancelled our booking when we arrive but they were able to accomodate us. They gave us the wrong rooms but it's okay.The staffs can't speak English that much although they are all accommodating. Be mindful of your things as it is difficult to communicate with them. You have to wake up early to eat your breakfast because once the food are finished, they do not refill it. One time, the coffee machine was broken and they didn't have a back up coffee machine. There is no glass , cup and even an electric kettle to heat drinking water inside your room. You have to ask the permission to the receptionist in order to have afree hot water, which was a hassle for me as I'm a coffee drinker. The mini refrigerator wasn't working in the room I was staying. The internet is bad. The kept on signing you out every day and you have to sign in everyday, and the most cringing of it all is that when your room is in the 5th floor and up, you can't get any wifi signal. You have to stay at the ground floor to get a good internet.

  : Rooms were not clean properly. Infrastructure was bad. Some equipments destroyed and if towels were not change there was no option to request at reception because they always reply: cleaning people come tomorrow.
