  : Noise from the street was the major downside. The room was full of poorly insulated windows which makes sleeping hard at night with all the noise from the street. No lift in the building

  : No elevator , i had to hold my bags 3 floor The cleaning team open the door directly without checking if im inside or asking me for a cleaning if you are a turkish , the price will be very cheaper then a tourist , a turkish friend of mine rent the room for 300 lira and i had to pay 75$ like 650 lira per night

  : I was pleasantly surprised by the Cordis Hotel. The reviews had been mixed. I found the hotel very neat & clean - the rooms, bathrooms & linens. The hotel staff were always pleasant and very helpful.The hotel location is perfect, just off Taksim Square and a short walk to the transport hub of Taksim Metro. There is a pedestrian area close to the hotel with restaurants and smaller eateries. There are mini markets just outside the hotel. I had experience of two rooms at the Cordis Hotel. My room with a balcony was not available when I arrived. The first room ( No 301), on the third floor, was a big room that faced the street. The windows were double glazed and effectively sound proofed the room. The other room (No 402) on the 4th Floor was a tiny room, but had a balcony. The room faced away from the street but was on the ‘ sun side’ & was very hot in the afternoons. There was some floor damage in this room possible due to the fact the balcony door did not close properly & could have let rain in in winter. Both rooms had clean modern bathrooms with good showers & lots of very hot water.There is no lift in the Cordis Hotel, so if you have problems with stairs, a room on the lower levels would be better. The breakfast at the cafe below the hotel was a meager plate of tomato, cucumber, a slice of meat, some cheese, jam & lots of bread. The coffee was very good. The rooms have fridges so I stocked up on yoghurt & fruit from the mini market for my own breakfast. The rooms also have kettles.These rooms are in the ‘more modern’ part of the hotel - the block on the right hand side of the reception.Overall I found the hotel very good value for money, especially for a major city in peak summer season. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe staying at the Cordis Hotel.

  : I parked where the receptionists told me to, even if I said that it doesn't look good, he promised that nothing will happen. I got my car picked up by the police and even if they said it was their fault, they wouldn't pay for taking back my car, but the manager came with me to take it back though. Also the photos are waaay better than the reality, The sheets were stained and I asked them to change it for 3 times and they were not able to find clean sheets. I STRONGLY advice anyone to look for another hotel, I am very disappointed about this experience.
