  : If there were a rating lower than 1 star, I would choose it without hesitation. This must be one of the worst, if not THE worst, hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled to over 30 countries. It's even worse than the cheapest hotels I stayed in 30 years ago in the most challenging areas of Cairo, Pakistan, and Syria.To begin with, our rooms were not ready upon arrival, and they attempted to give us quadruple rooms when we had booked double rooms. After a frustrating two-hour wait, one of the rooms had no electricity when it was finally ready.The rooms were never cleaned during our stay. In one room, there were no bed sheets for two nights, and the power went out every night for hours with no backup generator in place. The so-called "room cleaning" of folding up the same dirty towels.The reception was often managed by individuals who appeared to be around 10 or 15 years old and had little knowledge of how to address our concerns.The rooms were infested with flies and bugs, and virtually everything seemed to be broken. Hygiene was severely lacking, and as a result, all of us experienced gastrointestinal issues for the first three days of our stay.Whenever we approached the reception with these issues, they always had an excuse, whether it was that these problems were only happening now, we had bad luck, or they were short-staffed. They even had the audacity to ask me what I would do about the electricity if I were in charge. My simple answer was that they should invest in a generator.While I didn't expect a king's palace, BUT even for a 3-star hotel, basic amenities like electricity and proper room cleaning with fresh towels should be a given. It's not asking for much, considering the rating.
